Before the wedding
We help translate plans into a photography timeline, identify where travel or room changes will cost time, make family photographs realistic, and decide where film will contribute most.
Full wedding photography

No awkward posing. Just real moments, beautifully captured.
Complete coverage for the people, place, and pace of the day.
As Bay Area wedding photographers, we work throughout San Francisco, Marin, the East Bay, Wine Country, the coast, and destinations while keeping each place and celebration specific.
A wedding is not a sequence of portfolio opportunities. It is a social world that exists for a day: the room before everyone arrives, the person trying not to cry, the friend who changes the dance floor, and the quiet minute after the ceremony.
We help translate plans into a photography timeline, identify where travel or room changes will cost time, make family photographs realistic, and decide where film will contribute most.
We work as a coordinated team, often seeing the same event from different emotional distances. We guide portraits and groups clearly, then return attention to the people and movement around us.
Helena personally shapes the final color and sequence so digital and film belong together. The gallery, slideshow, print shop, and optional album are made to preserve a complete story rather than a highlight reel.
The plan has a purpose
The best part is when the plan has done its job and nobody needs to manage the wedding anymore.
We fully support the timeline, the family list, the weather plan, and the thoughtful decisions that protect the day. They create the conditions for letting go. When the weather turns, dinner runs late, the dance floor takes over, or something better than the plan happens, our work is to stay ready and make beautiful photographs without asking you to regain control.

A full wedding day, photographed as it actually unfolds.
Selected wedding work
These photographs come from different weddings, conditions, people, and years. The range is intentional: the skill is not controlling what happens, but being ready when it does.
01 · Anticipation and ceremony
Getting ready, arrivals, family, vows, and the reactions around the ceremony—the photographs that need anticipation more than control.

02 · Portraits with room around them
Clear direction, strong light, and a short stretch of time together can make deliberate photographs without turning the day into a shoot.

03 · Dinner, reactions, and the party
Entrances, speeches, dinner, children, dance floors, and whatever happens once nobody needs to perform the plan anymore.

Questions
Many weddings include both Helena and Laurent. We also photograph separately when the scale or plan calls for one primary photographer. The standards, editing, and experience remain shared.
Enough to solve the photograph and help people feel comfortable. Family groups and portraits get clear guidance; candid parts of the day get attention without constant interruption.
You do not need practice. Couples already know how to make each other feel comfortable. We give simple direction, use prompts to create momentum, and help you turn your attention back toward each other rather than toward the camera.
Yes. The public Love Stories library shows narrative, location-specific work. After an inquiry, we also send a varied set of full galleries so you can see how the work holds together across different light, weather, timelines, personalities, and celebrations we could not control.
