The story
This 150-guest Mendocino Grove wedding moved from preparations among the tents to a redwood ceremony, cocktail hour, a foggy portrait walk, dinner in the Meadow, toasts, and dancing—photographed on digital and film.
Mendocino Grove
The campground held the whole day.
Separate preparations in the Apartment and a guest tent kept both sides close without collapsing the anticipation. Because the ceremony, dinner, and party were all onsite, the wedding could unfold without repeatedly stopping for travel.

At a camp wedding, the setting is not scenery around the day. It changes how people move, gather, and stay together.

Mendocino, California
The light changed without breaking the story.
The ceremony began in warm, open light; fog arrived for the portraits among the coastal trees. Digital protected the fast transitions while film added a looser texture, and the edit lets both conditions remain true to Mendocino.

Why this story matters
The Meadow kept the guests at the center.
Cocktails, dinner, speeches, family, and a crowded dance floor made the second half as visually complete as the ceremony. The gallery stays with the people around the couple instead of ending once the formal photographs are finished.
