Inside the studio
The people, thinking, and practical details behind the photographs.

Helena + Laurent
A personal studio, built around real life.
We are a husband-and-wife team, parents, longtime Marin locals, and photographers who believe the experience matters more than the photo shoot.
You speak with us, plan with us, and receive a complete story made with documentary attention, editorial judgment, film, digital, and clear direction only when it helps.
Our own wedding was built by friends, photographed by someone we trusted, and followed by a Las Vegas ceremony when we discovered the first one had not made the marriage legal. That experience sharpened what still guides the studio: the gathering matters more than a production, small imperfections become part of the story, and photographs gain value because of the people and history they carry—not because everyone performed perfectly for a camera.
How we see
Years of weddings, moving as one story.
A few minutes of quiet beginnings, crowded rooms, weather, portraits, ceremonies, and the people who shaped how we photograph.
