Choose a place with a simple approach.
A beautiful location is not useful if there are several entrances, no clear stopping point, or nowhere for a photographer to wait without being obvious. Pick one recognizable mark and share the exact direction each person will face.

Plan for a time window rather than one exact minute.
Traffic, parking, transit, nerves, and a last-minute stop can move the plan. A live location update and a short arrival window let the photographer adjust without sending suspicious messages.
Make the signal ordinary.
A specific gesture, phrase, or stopping place tells the photographer the proposal is about to happen. It should feel natural enough that the other person does not notice a sudden change in behavior.

Leave room for what happens after yes.
The first hug, phone calls, a drink, a walk, and the shift from secrecy into celebration often carry more of the story than a long portrait session. Plan a little unstructured time before moving to dinner or friends.
