The story
Jamie and Anthony gathered a small group and their dog for an outdoor ceremony, then let the Marin County Civic Center’s curved galleries, gardens, color, and light shape the rest of the photographs on film and digital.

The ceremony belonged to the people who came.
A small group, an open lawn, and the dog kept the vows close to the life Jamie and Anthony were already building. The photographs hold the people around them instead of treating the ceremony as a short prelude to portraits.

The ceremony stayed personal. The Civic Center gave the photographs scale, color, and a distinctly Marin sense of place.

The building created movement, not a checklist.
Curved galleries, circular openings, garden edges, blue rooflines, and pink stucco gave the couple a changing visual language without asking them to leave the Civic Center. Walking the architecture became part of the afternoon.

Why this story matters
Film and digital held the place differently.
Film softened the building’s color and repetition while digital protected movement, interior contrast, and the late pieces of the day. The finished story keeps both mediums together rather than dividing the wedding into separate looks.
