The story
We met up with the couple to hike the the Land's End Trail together, a length of rocky shoreline with stunning views of the golden gate bridge that runs along the southern opening of the San Francisco Bay. We chased the light straight into a small secret beach called Mile Rock Beach, right as the sun dropped into the Pacific. Turns out they save the best light for last.

The complete sequence
A real story needs the parts between the portraits.
This engagement story in San Francisco Bay Area is shown as a sequence: the people arriving, the setting taking shape, the ceremony, the reactions around it, and the way the celebration changed afterward. The photographs stay together so the day reads as more than a short highlight reel.

A location that requires movement
The walk to Mile Rock Beach became part of the engagement story.
Lands End is not only the overlook visible in a finished photograph. Trails, stairs, changing wind, tree cover, public access, and the climb back out determine how the session feels. Planning around that physical route gave the couple something real to do and kept the photographs from becoming a set of disconnected scenic poses.
Sunset at Mile Rock is conditional rather than guaranteed. The gallery keeps the darker trees, coast, movement, and changing light together, showing why a flexible session can use the weather that arrives instead of depending on one perfect final frame.
