The story
Engagement sessions aren’t photoshoots. They’re a way of documenting a time in your life, as it actually feels. Less about chasing the perfect backdrop, more about creating a space where you can just be together and let things unfold.

In their own place
What made this one specific.
the couple did it right. They started with a drink at Vesuvio Cafe, eased into the afternoon, then wandered into City Lights Bookstore before heading out into the streets of North Beach. No agenda beyond walking, talking, and seeing where the day took them.
They made their way up the steep hills, cut through hidden alleys, and eventually climbed toward Coit Tower, with the city opening up around them. The whole time, it felt less like a session and more like a really good afternoon together.
That’s the point. When you build the shoot around something real, the connection shows up on its own. No posing needed. Just the couple, exactly as they are, in a place that gave them room to be it.

The complete sequence
A real story needs the parts between the portraits.
This engagement story in North Beach · San Francisco is shown as a sequence: the people arriving, the setting taking shape, the ceremony, the reactions around it, and the way the celebration changed afterward. The photographs stay together so the day reads as more than a short highlight reel.
