The story
Getting ready in the Schoolhouse and cabin led to vows in the grove above Stemple Creek Ranch, then cocktails, dinner, pie, and dancing in the barn.
Stemple Creek Ranch
The ranch gave the whole day a natural route.
The Schoolhouse, cabin, grove, outdoor cocktail space, and barn each carried a part of the story. Moving through the property felt purposeful without requiring guests to leave and arrive again.

The most important portrait was not on a shot list: it was the two of them alone after the ceremony, photographed from far enough away to remain theirs.

Tomales, West Marin
Personal details worked because they had history.
An old car, family photographs, friends officiating, and pie instead of a formal cake mattered because they belonged to the couple. They appeared inside the day rather than as a separate styling exercise.

Why this story matters
Privacy can remain visible without being interrupted.
The couple asked for a quiet moment in the grove after the ceremony. Photographing it from a distance kept the context and emotion while honoring the reason they wanted the time in the first place.
