The story
This Gorgeous Redwood wedding at the Union Hotel , in Occidental, Gave us all the feels. It wasn't really a surprise. We knew we liked the couple a lot when they let Laurent drive their boat during the engagement shoot , but their wedding made us fall madly in love with them! one partner surprised the other partner with an original song for their first look, and if that doesn't have you crying right away then don't be surprised if you start bawling by their gorgeous redwood forest ceremony -- or maybe you're already dead inside . In any case, words don't really do this wedding justice so we added some music to give you all the feels, enjoy.

The complete sequence
A real story needs the parts between the portraits.
This wedding story in Union Hotel · Occidental is shown as a sequence: the people arriving, the setting taking shape, the ceremony, the reactions around it, and the way the celebration changed afterward. The photographs stay together so the day reads as more than a short highlight reel.

Redwoods and the Union Hotel
Two distinct spaces carried one connected celebration.
The redwood ceremony brought shade, scale, and a quiet emotional register. Union Hotel changed the pace through rooms built for eating, talking, and celebrating. The transition between them matters as much as either location alone because it explains how the wedding moved from vows into hospitality.
The gallery keeps the couple, families, guests, tables, and less formal evening frames in sequence. That depth makes the venue combination useful for people planning an Occidental wedding: it shows not only what the places look like, but what kind of day they can hold together.
