Amy and Brandon kept 140 guests at YMCA Camp Campbell for a complete redwood wedding day: getting ready in separate lodge rooms, vows in the outdoor chapel, games and dinner outside Swenson Family Lodge, and dancing and a piñata indoors.
Separate lodge rooms kept preparations close
Amy got ready in the Window Room while Brandon used the fireplace room in Swenson Lodge. They had their first look nearby, then completed wedding-party and family photographs before guests arrived at the chapel.
The redwood chapel held a 140-person ceremony
The ceremony took place on the outdoor wooden platform beneath the redwoods. With the group photographs already underway before the ceremony, only the remaining immediate-family combinations needed attention afterward.
Swenson Family Lodge carried dinner into dancing
Cocktail hour and lawn games happened outside the lodge, followed by dinner, toasts, and a choreographed first dance. The celebration then moved indoors for dancing, a piñata, and a donut bar.
