The story
We ventured deep into West Marin for the couple’s engagement session. Set along the cliffs near the Point Reyes Lighthouse, this part of Point Reyes National Seashore is known for sweeping coastal views and open sky. But the weather had something else in mind.

In their own place
What made this one specific.
By the time they arrived, the fog had rolled in so thick that visibility dropped to almost nothing. The lighthouse disappeared. The overlooks vanished. Everything we thought we’d be shooting was gone.
We moved through the fog, into the evening, using their vintage rally car as a light source as the last of the daylight disappeared. What followed felt completely removed from the original plan. Quiet, surreal, and far better than anything we had expected.
If you love this dreamy engagement shoot they you'll adore this couple's incredible destination wedding in the Yucatan, Mexico.

A real story needs the parts between the portraits.
This engagement story in Point Reyes · West Marin is shown as a sequence: the people arriving, the setting taking shape, the ceremony, the reactions around it, and the way the celebration changed afterward.
