The story
This Point Reyes engagement session moved through a few different parts of Point Reyes National Seashore, beginning out in the open before making its way into the Cypress Tree Tunnel and ending at the South Beach Overlook near the lighthouse. Each stop shifted the pace slightly, but the feeling stayed consistent.

In their own place
What made this one specific.
It felt open in every direction at the start, just a stretch of road and wildflowers along the Northern California coast, with nowhere in particular to be. A place to begin before moving on.
From there, we made our way into the Cypress Tunnel, where everything tightened up. The trees closed in, the light filtered down, and the pace shifted without needing to force it.
We stayed there for a bit, then kept moving, out toward the South Beach Overlook near the Point Reyes Lighthouse. The drive, the stops along the way, all of it became part of the session. By the time we reached the cliffs, everything had opened up again.
We stayed out there until the light was gone, letting the evening wind things down naturally.

The complete sequence
A real story needs the parts between the portraits.
This engagement story in Point Reyes · West Marin is shown as a sequence: the people arriving, the setting taking shape, the ceremony, the reactions around it, and the way the celebration changed afterward. The photographs stay together so the day reads as more than a short highlight reel.
