Travel days affect wedding days.
Flights, ferries, weather, lodging, vendor access, and unfamiliar roads deserve a real plan. We build coverage around the full gathering rather than treating travel as invisible.
Destination wedding photographer

We photograph destination weddings when the location is part of the story: a rainforest and beach in Tofino, a family hotel in Asbury Park, a Yucatán hacienda, or a place that asks everyone to arrive and stay awhile.
No awkward posing. No script for how the day should feel. We make the plan and solve the photography so you can stay with the people who make you forget about the camera.

We do not import a Bay Area shot list into every destination. Landscape, architecture, weather, local traditions, and how people use the place should remain visible.
Helena and Laurent work across planning, photography, film, digital, and editing so a destination story remains coherent even when it crosses several days and settings.

What local experience changes
Travel creates anticipation, unfamiliar routines, family time, and logistical risk. We treat the welcome, place, movement, and events as one story while carrying the backups and local preparation the assignment requires.
Critical gear stays with us, arrivals include a buffer, and the schedule does not depend on the last possible flight. The photography plan begins with being present and operational before guests need us.
We coordinate with the planner and venue, study access and light, and scout what affects movement. We do not pretend one visit equals local expertise or turn the destination into a collection of clichés.
Recurring guests, meals, landscape, clothing, traditions, and travel connect the events. Coverage decisions and final sequencing should reveal those relationships instead of delivering several unrelated mini-galleries.
Questions couples ask
The appropriate direct-link pricing guide shows the flat travel amount for regional, national, or international work so budgeting is clear. Taxes and the stated travel are included in the number shown.

It depends on distance, border or flight risk, scouting needs, and when coverage begins. The plan includes enough margin that ordinary disruption does not threaten the wedding assignment.
