Yvonne and Kevin chose the Redwood Grove at UC Berkeley Botanical Garden because Kevin had proposed among redwoods. Their 54-person wedding moved from an amphitheater ceremony to cocktails, dinner, cake, and dancing at Julia Morgan Hall.
A first look inside the living collection
After getting ready together-but-separate at a Berkeley house, Yvonne and Kevin met at the garden for their first look. The paths and plant collections gave them variety before the 5:30 ceremony without leaving the property.

Guests faced the couple in the grove's amphitheater seating. After the ceremony, everyone gathered for one complete group photograph before smaller family combinations began.
Julia Morgan Hall kept the reception close
Cocktails and dancing used the outdoor deck while dinner and speeches happened in the historic hall. Yvonne and Kevin stepped out once near the 7:56 sunset, returned for dessert and speeches, and opened the dance floor outside.
