The story
the couple’s wedding took place at The Haven at Tomales Bay, set along the Northern California coast with the ceremony outdoors and the reception inside the barn.

In their own place
What made this one specific.
The setting does a lot on its own. Open landscape, long views, and a sense of distance from everything else. It’s one of the reasons they chose to get married here, to bring people into that environment and let it carry the day.
The getting ready spaces felt more like parts of a home than designated rooms. the other partner got ready in a pool room, with friends moving in and out, while one partner’s bridal suite was large and filled with natural light. Windows on multiple sides, enough space for people to spread out, and a pace that never felt rushed.
Guests arrived by shuttle, stepping off the buses and into the landscape. The groomsmen greeted them with ribbons to hold, which carried through the ceremony.
The space is substantial. High ceilings, exposed structure, and enough room to hold both the scale of the guest list and the detail work that had gone into the design. Tables, florals, and place settings all carried a level of attention that held up against the space rather than getting lost in it.
Dinner moved from the first dance, some really touching toasts, and then into a packed dance floor, with a live band carrying things through the rest of the evening.
