The story
This wedding epitomizes our belief that beauty is everywhere if you look for it. the couple got ready in a suburban neighborhood and they had their first look in the hill behind one partner’s Parent’s house. They were married at the local community center and their portraits were done in a giant empty parking lot, under the shade of solar panels. We were completely blown away by the amount of beauty we saw in these simple locations.

In their own place
What made this one specific.
This couple, with their Afghani community and family, was very clear on their wedding values: lot’s of love, lot’s of food, lot’s of dance – and it was incredible.

The complete sequence
A real story needs the parts between the portraits.
This wedding story in Concord · East Bay is shown as a sequence: the people arriving, the setting taking shape, the ceremony, the reactions around it, and the way the celebration changed afterward. The photographs stay together so the day reads as more than a short highlight reel.
