The story
Amidst the fresh cement and constant expansion of San Francisco you'll find some of that old magic, the kind that only history and fog can provide. We met the couple at the Sutro Baths, easily one of our favorite spots in the bay, and went exploring.

The complete sequence
A real story needs the parts between the portraits.
This engagement story in San Francisco is shown as a sequence: the people arriving, the setting taking shape, the ceremony, the reactions around it, and the way the celebration changed afterward. The photographs stay together so the day reads as more than a short highlight reel.

Fog as part of the place
Sutro Baths did not need clear weather to feel complete.
Fog reduced the horizon and made the engagement session more intimate. Instead of fighting for a postcard view, the photographs use concrete, water, wind, paths, and the couple’s movement through a place that remained recognizably San Francisco under ordinary coastal conditions.
That is a useful location test: choose somewhere you still want when the forecast changes. The full sequence moves through wide atmosphere, closer interactions, and the transitions between them, creating a story from the conditions rather than treating fog as a problem to conceal.
