The story
This wedding started at Cavallo Point, just across the Golden Gate Bridge, where the morning felt calm and unhurried. From there, everyone made their way into the Marin Headlands for the ceremony at the Headlands Center for the Arts.

In their own place
What made this one specific.
The Headlands Center for the Arts is one of those venues that doesn’t feel overly produced. It’s quiet, a little removed, and surrounded by open space in a way that’s hard to replicate anywhere else in the Bay Area. The buildings, the light, the textures, it all feels more like a working space than a traditional wedding venue, and that’s exactly why it works.
Weddings here tend to unfold naturally. There’s less pressure to perform and more room to just be present, which changes everything about how the day feels and how it’s remembered.
The day moved easily between spaces, from the openness of the Headlands to the warmth of the reception. Nothing felt forced. People found their rhythm, conversations lingered, and the moments that mattered happened in between everything else.
The Headlands Center for the Arts is a rare kind of venue in the Marin Headlands. It’s not built to create a perfect version of a wedding, it gives you space to have a real one.
If you’re planning a wedding at the Headlands Center for the Arts and looking for a San Francisco Bay Area wedding photographer, we’d love to document it in a way that reflects how it actually felt to be there.
