The story
This 243-person West Marin wedding moved from getting ready at Straus Home Ranch and the Lodge at Marconi to a hillside ceremony, a brass-band procession, dinner, and a packed dance floor at The Haven at Tomales.

The beginning happened in two places.
Photographing preparation at Straus Home Ranch and the Lodge at Marconi preserved both sides of the morning before everyone converged at The Haven.

A large wedding needed real structure. Once that structure held, the celebration could become loud, loose, and completely social.

Tomales and Marshall, West Marin
The hillside ceremony opened into a procession.
The outdoor vows, guest reactions, and band-led movement afterward gave the ceremony a real ending instead of an abrupt switch into cocktail hour.

Why this story matters
Dinner and dancing carried the scale.
Long tables, speeches, live music, and a crowded dance floor made the second half about the whole room. The story keeps returning to the couple without losing the community around them.
