The story
This wedding is Oakland at it's best. the couple got ready at the Waterfront Hotel, a maritime themed hotel in Jack London Square (Oakland's historic waterfront district). The Ceremony was held in the Cathedral of Christ the light, one of the most architecturally ambitious church we've ever seen. Their reception was at the Oakland Aviation Museum, complete with an epic golden hour portrait session in an airplane yard, and shots in and out of the aquatic plane from the first Indiana Jones Movie.

In their own place
What made this one specific.
the couple created some exceptional DIY elements for their wedding. To list a few: one partner did her hair and makeup herself. the other partner and one partner designed the paper invitations, escort card table, guest book, table decorations, and a gold jet cake topper. They even bought flowers at the flower market and arranged all the florals themselves.
