Lauren and Aron built their 2019 wedding around downtown San Francisco: preparations at the Hyatt Regency and their home, portraits along the waterfront, a ceremony in the former Federal Reserve building, and dinner and dancing beneath the Bently Reserve's tall banking hall.
Two preparations and a first look downtown
Lauren prepared with family at the Hyatt Regency while Aron began the day at home. They met near the waterfront for their first look, portraits, and wedding-party photographs before everyone reached the venue.
A ceremony in the banking hall
The ceremony used the height, columns, and symmetry of the former Federal Reserve building. Completing the larger family groups immediately afterward kept everyone close and ready for cocktails.
A trolley, dinner, and a dark dance floor
A short trolley and street-photo break connected the formal ceremony to the evening. Inside, the warm stone rooms shifted naturally from dinner and toasts into a darker, energetic dance floor.
